Friends with Benefits is a 2011 American romantic comedy directed by Will Gluck. Justin Timberlake stars as Dylan Harper, a Los Angeles art director recruited to work at GQ magazine in New York by headhunter Jamie Rellis, played by Mila Kunis. After bonding over their shared cynicism about romantic relationships, they agree to become friends with benefits — engaging in a physical relationship without emotional attachment.

Their attempt to keep things casual is undermined by the inconvenient reality that genuine feelings develop despite both parties' best efforts to prevent them. The film was released within months of the similarly premised No Strings Attached, but distinguished itself through sharper dialogue, stronger chemistry between its leads, and a more confident embrace of romantic comedy conventions. Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis brought genuine comedic timing and physical chemistry to their roles.

Woody Harrelson provided memorable comic relief as a flamboyant sports editor. The film earned $149 million worldwide on a $35 million budget.
