About the Film

How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World is a 2019 animated fantasy produced by DreamWorks Animation, the concluding chapter of the trilogy. Now chief of Berk, Hiccup has created a dragon-human utopia, but when the appearance of a female Night Fury — a stunning white dragon Hiccup names the Light Fury — draws Toothless into the wild, and a dragon hunter named Grimmel the Grisly, voiced by F. Murray Abraham, threatens to destroy everything they've built, Hiccup must discover the legendary Hidden World, a dragon paradise deep beneath the ocean, and make the hardest decision of his life: whether dragons and humans should live together or apart.

The Hidden World brought the trilogy to a bittersweet, emotionally devastating conclusion — the final parting between Hiccup and Toothless, separated so that both their peoples can be safe, was one of the most moving sequences in modern animation. The Hidden World earned $521 million worldwide and received an Annie Award nomination for Best Animated Feature.
