The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is a 2010 American fantasy adventure directed by Michael Apted, the third installment in the Narnia franchise. Georgie Henley and Skandar Keynes return as Lucy and Edmund Pevensie, who are transported back to Narnia along with their annoying cousin Eustace Scrubb, played by Will Poulter, where they join King Caspian, played by Ben Barnes, aboard the ship Dawn Treader on a voyage to the eastern edge of the world. Their quest to find seven lost Lords of Narnia takes them through enchanted islands where they face temptation, sea serpents, slavers, and a mysterious green mist that feeds on fear and desire.

The film was the first in the franchise produced by 20th Century Fox after Disney declined to continue, and the transition resulted in a more action-oriented, faster-paced approach. Will Poulter's Eustace, a whiny, petulant boy who is transformed into a dragon as punishment for his greed and subsequently redeemed, was the film's most compelling character arc. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader earned $415 million worldwide on a $155 million budget.
