Bee Movie is a 2007 American animated comedy produced by DreamWorks Animation, co-written by and starring Jerry Seinfeld. The film follows Barry B. Benson, a young bee voiced by Seinfeld, who graduates from college and is dismayed to discover that his career options consist entirely of one job: making honey.

After venturing outside the hive and befriending a human florist named Vanessa, voiced by Renee Zellweger, Barry discovers that humans have been stealing and selling bee-produced honey for centuries and decides to sue the human race. The premise — a bee filing a lawsuit against humanity — was aggressively bizarre even by animated comedy standards, and Jerry Seinfeld's observational humor about the absurdities of bee society occasionally landed and occasionally fell flat. Bee Movie earned $293 million worldwide on a $150 million budget and has experienced an extraordinary second life as an internet meme, with the "entire Bee Movie script" becoming one of the most widely shared pieces of copypasta online.
