Collateral Beauty is a 2016 American drama directed by David Frankel. Will Smith stars as Howard Inlet, a successful New York advertising executive who withdraws from life after the death of his six-year-old daughter, spending his days building elaborate domino structures in silence. His concerned partners, played by Edward Norton, Kate Winslet, and Michael Pena, discover that Howard has been writing angry letters to abstract concepts โ Love, Time, and Death โ and hire three actors played by Keira Knightley, Jacob Latimore, and Helen Mirren to portray these concepts and confront him in person, hoping to capture the encounters on video to have him declared mentally incompetent so they can sell the company.
