- The incredible score for Jurassic World was composed in just a few weeks after the original composer dropped out.

- Eagle-eyed viewers have noticed a hidden easter egg referencing Colin Trevorrow's previous film in the background of the opening scene.
Jurassic World is a 2015 American science fiction action film directed by Colin Trevorrow, the fourth installment in the Jurassic Park franchise set 22 years after the events of Steven Spielberg's original 1993 film. The story takes place in a fully operational dinosaur theme park on Isla Nublar, where declining visitor numbers have led the park's geneticists to create a genetically modified hybrid dinosaur called the Indominus Rex to boost attendance. When the highly intelligent creature escapes its enclosure, operations manager Claire Dearing, played by Bryce Dallas Howard, and velociraptor trainer Owen Grady, played by Chris Pratt, must work together to prevent a catastrophe.
Jurassic World had spent over a decade in development, with numerous scripts and directors attached before Colin Trevorrow signed on. The film cleverly addressed the passage of time by imagining that John Hammond's original vision had been realized and that the public had grown bored with ordinary dinosaurs โ a meta-commentary on the challenge of making audiences feel wonder in an age of CGI spectacle. Chris Pratt's performance cemented his status as one of Hollywood's most bankable leading men following Guardians of the Galaxy.
Jurassic World shattered box office records upon release, earning $1.67 billion worldwide and briefly holding the record for the highest-grossing worldwide opening weekend. The film's success demonstrated the enduring commercial power of the Jurassic Park brand and launched a new trilogy, though subsequent installments received increasingly mixed critical reception. Industrial Light & Magic's visual effects blended CGI and animatronic dinosaurs to create the franchise's most visually detailed prehistoric creatures to date.
