About the Film

Murder Mystery is a 2019 American action comedy directed by Kyle Newacheck. Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston star as Nick and Audrey Spitz, a New York cop and his wife on a long-delayed European honeymoon who meet a wealthy stranger on a plane who invites them aboard his family's yacht. When the patriarch is murdered during a dinner party, Nick and Audrey become prime suspects and must solve the crime to clear their names while being pursued across the Mediterranean.

Sandler and Aniston's bickering-couple chemistry recalled classic screwball comedy partnerships. Murder Mystery spawned a sequel and the film's success solidified Sandler's Netflix partnership.
