The film reunites Phil, Stu, Alan, and Doug as they travel to Thailand for Stu's wedding to Lauren. Despite Stu's meticulous precautions to avoid repeating their Las Vegas disaster, the group wakes up in a seedy Bangkok hotel room with no memory of the previous night, a shaved head, a face tattoo, a severed finger, and a chain-smoking capuchin monkey โ while Lauren's teenage brother Teddy is missing.
The Hangover Part II was one of the most financially successful comedy sequels ever made, earning $586 million worldwide on an $80 million budget.
