The Best Comedy Movies on AMC+

Comedy is the most subjective genre in film. What makes one person laugh barely gets a smile from another. That's exactly why audience scores matter more here than anywhere else — funny is funny, and no amount of film theory changes that.

AMC+ streams AMC's films with Shudder, IFC Films and Sundance Now included. These are its comedy movies that audiences rated highest.

From sharp satires to slapstick gold, these are the comedies that actual viewers loved. If it made people laugh, it scores high here.

Every movie on this list is ranked by ThumbScore — the percentage of everyday people who liked the film. No critic gatekeeping, no algorithmic manipulation. Just real audience verdicts.
