The Best Action Movies on AMC+

Action movies live and die by their set pieces. Audiences don't need a critic to tell them whether a car chase was exciting or a fight scene was brilliantly choreographed — they felt it. That's why audience scores are the only honest measure of an action movie's quality.

AMC+ streams AMC's films with Shudder, IFC Films and Sundance Now included. These are its action movies that audiences rated highest.

Whether you're in the mood for explosive blockbusters, martial arts masterpieces, or tense action-thrillers, this list delivers the films that real people watched and rated highest.

Every movie on this list is ranked by ThumbScore — the percentage of everyday people who liked the film. No critic gatekeeping, no algorithmic manipulation. Just real audience verdicts.
