Vandevere, a ruthless entertainment mogul played by Michael Keaton who wants to incorporate Dumbo into his massive Dreamland theme park, the circus family must protect the baby elephant from exploitation. Tim Burton brought his characteristic visual flair to the circus environments and Dreamland, creating a retro-futuristic entertainment palace that was vintage Burton. Danny DeVito appeared as the struggling circus owner Max Medici.
Eva Green played a trapeze artist enlisted to perform aerial acts with Dumbo. Dumbo earned $353 million worldwide on a $170 million budget.
