The Best Horror Movies on Paramount+

Horror is the genre that critics misunderstand the most. They want elevated, metaphorical trauma-dramas, while audiences usually just want to be scared out of their minds. When you're looking for a horror movie, trusting the Tomatometer is a guaranteed way to end up watching a slow-burn snooze-fest.

Paramount+ carries much of Paramount Pictures' own library. Its horror selection is worth a look, and these are the films in it that audiences rated highest.

This list is ranked entirely by the audience. Whether it's a terrifying slasher, a supernatural haunting, or psychological horror, if it delivered the scares, it scores high here.

Every movie on this list is ranked by ThumbScore — the percentage of everyday people who liked the film. No critic gatekeeping, no algorithmic manipulation. Just real audience verdicts.
