The Best Action Movies on Paramount+

Action movies live and die by their set pieces. Audiences don't need a critic to tell them whether a car chase was exciting or a fight scene was brilliantly choreographed — they felt it. That's why audience scores are the only honest measure of an action movie's quality.

Paramount+ carries much of Paramount Pictures' own library. Its action selection is worth a look, and these are the films in it that audiences rated highest.

Whether you're in the mood for explosive blockbusters, martial arts masterpieces, or tense action-thrillers, this list delivers the films that real people watched and rated highest.

Every movie on this list is ranked by ThumbScore — the percentage of everyday people who liked the film. No critic gatekeeping, no algorithmic manipulation. Just real audience verdicts.
