A music film lives or dies on the moment the band finally plays. The best ones earn it, whether the story is true, made up or told entirely in song.
Prime Video's library is enormous and chaotic. Half the catalog feels like it was uploaded by robots. But buried in the noise are some genuinely great music films if you know where to look.
Every film on this list earned its ranking from real viewers, from musicals and backstage stories to the lives of the people who made the songs.
Every movie on this list is ranked by ThumbScore — the percentage of everyday people who liked the film. No critic gatekeeping, no algorithmic manipulation. Just real audience verdicts.
