The best mystery movies make you feel smart for figuring it out, or stunned that you didn't. Either way, audiences know when a mystery delivers. Critics tend to overthink the puzzle and miss the fun.
Prime Video's library is enormous and chaotic. Half the catalog feels like it was uploaded by robots. But buried in the noise are some genuinely great mystery films if you know where to look.
These are the mysteries that kept real viewers guessing — and satisfied them with the answer.
Every movie on this list is ranked by ThumbScore — the percentage of everyday people who liked the film. No critic gatekeeping, no algorithmic manipulation. Just real audience verdicts.
