Animated movies consistently score higher with audiences than almost any other genre. It makes sense — animation studios spend years perfecting every frame, and the results speak for themselves.
Prime Video's library is enormous and chaotic. Half the catalog feels like it was uploaded by robots. But buried in the noise are some genuinely great animated films if you know where to look.
These are the animated films that audiences loved most. Family-friendly classics, anime masterpieces, and adult animation all ranked together by real viewer scores.
Every movie on this list is ranked by ThumbScore — the percentage of everyday people who liked the film. No critic gatekeeping, no algorithmic manipulation. Just real audience verdicts.
