The best mystery movies make you feel smart for figuring it out, or stunned that you didn't. Either way, audiences know when a mystery delivers. Critics tend to overthink the puzzle and miss the fun.
Netflix's library is massive, which means it has everything — and also a lot of nothing. Sorting through the catalog without a guide is a recipe for wasting an evening scrolling. This list cuts through the noise to the mystery movies that audiences actually loved.
These are the mysteries that kept real viewers guessing — and satisfied them with the answer.
Every movie on this list is ranked by ThumbScore — the percentage of everyday people who liked the film. No critic gatekeeping, no algorithmic manipulation. Just real audience verdicts.
