The Best Animated Movies on Netflix

Animated movies consistently score higher with audiences than almost any other genre. It makes sense — animation studios spend years perfecting every frame, and the results speak for themselves.

Netflix's library is massive, which means it has everything — and also a lot of nothing. Sorting through the catalog without a guide is a recipe for wasting an evening scrolling. This list cuts through the noise to the animated movies that audiences actually loved.

These are the animated films that audiences loved most. Family-friendly classics, anime masterpieces, and adult animation all ranked together by real viewer scores.

Every movie on this list is ranked by ThumbScore — the percentage of everyday people who liked the film. No critic gatekeeping, no algorithmic manipulation. Just real audience verdicts.
